As Byways is a unique, individual bed and breakfast facility with just 3 rooms, guests can be assured that every precaution will be taken to ensure them a safe and exclusive stay. As a result of the extra measures we have put in place, guests can simply relax and enjoy their time with us.
PRIOR TO ARRIVALAll guests will be communicated with prior to their arrival to confirm the following:

Check in times will be staggered, to ensure guests do not arrive at the same time.
Room keys will already be in rooms when guests arrive.
You will be welcomed in person, but please be assured that we will be careful to maintain the required 2m social distance at all times.
Hand Sanitisers will be provided in public areas such as the Entrance Hallway and the Breakfast Room.
Guests are required to observe the 2m social distancing rule with other guests and
Breakfast tables have been spaced out to allow a minimum of 2m between guests.
Staggered breakfast times can be arranged, to ensure exclusive access to the Breakfast Room for guests.
All items of self service have been removed until further notice.
If required, guests can choose to have Continental Breakfast delivered to their room rather than eat in the Breakfast Room.
GUEST HEALTH & HYGIENE
Guests who are displaying symptoms of Covid-19 will be kindly asked to leave.
Guests who bring their own face masks are helping to keep themselves, us and our other guests safe.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide masks for guests.
An intensified deep clean and disinfection of bedrooms and bathrooms will be carried out after each guest has checked out, paying particular attention to high touch items.
Public areas and touch points in the Entrance Hallway and the Breakfast Room will be cleaned more frequently. Special attention will be paid to door handles, hand rails, etc.
To provide a safe, contactless check-out for guests, outstanding balances will be automatically taken from the card provided when initially booking.
Guests will be asked to leave their keys in the room when checking out rather than handing them back to us personally.
